From TWUUG

September 2006

Mark Davis presented on the Audacity, the free and open-source sound editor. Included with every major Linux distribution and even cross-platform, Audacity has been a staple for sound editing in the FOSS world for a long time. Easy to use, powerful, expandible.

Mark also gave a long (and hopefully educational) answer to the question of "How do I change from one desktop environment to another?"

Ethan O'Toole gave a short presentation on Scantool, a free and open source car computer ODB2 diagnostic scanner program and open hardware.

Discs were made available at this meeting.
