• Mark Davis gave a presentation on the first Ion (Atom 330 dual core 1.6Ghz Hyperthreading CPU + NVidia graphics) based board the group has seen, in the form of a very small ASrock box. Loaded up Linux and everything "just worked"! Overclocked it to 1.9Ghz x 2 and it seemed stable (later I found it was unstable in VirtualBox and lowered it to 1.7Ghz).
• Joel Kirch gave a presentation on lftp, a file transfer program. Mark Davis followed with a similar program, gftp.

Many discs were available.

Attendance: 14 members + 2 new + 1 returning + 0 visitors = 17 attendees, minimum.
