At this meeting:

  • Tim Kramer and Dave Spicer gave a presentation on SNIPS.AI an open source voice recognition system under Linux. Also talked about how it will ultimately be used in their home automation projects using Home Assistant and openHAB with the MQTT protocol.
  • Hoyt Duff was able to show XtraPC- a live, flash-drive Linux distro.


Attendance: 10 Members + 0 new + 1 returning + 0 visitors = 11 attendees, minimum.
Membership: 30 Members + 0 new + 1 returning (Cate) - 2 expired (Alexander, Fischer) = 29 TWUUG members.
