From TWUUG

The November actual 2020 TWUUG meeting was canceled due to COVID-19 precautions. The facility was not open for visitors or outsider meetings. However, we had a "virtual" meeting on the normal date/time, but on https://meet.jit.si (Jitsi).

The virtual meeting went quite well, far better than I expected. Not much in the area of technical problems. At the maximum, there were 10 attendees, including some people from out of the area: Mark Davis, Dave Harris, Ethan O'Toole, William Melgaard, Alan Dudley, Randy Pugh, Tim Kramer, "Sam", and Joel Kirch (?).

Discussion included lots of topics including, audio systems and latency, virtualization, server config, open broadcast, old stuff show-and-tell, past Unixes, routers, alternative ISP (Starlink, 5G, etc), COVID-19, and more. It went on for about 4.5 hours!

We will be having additional virtual meetings in the future.

We don't know how this will or can mesh into the official "membership" calculations, but for right now, I don't think it matters much. There are 138 forum members.
