From TWUUG

  • Frank Bell gave a presentation on Fluxbox, a memory/CPU efficient X Window manager.
  • Ethan O'Toole was able to share some limited info about his new Nokia N900, the newest Linux smartphone on the market. Like the Nokia Internet Tablets, this phone runs Maemo Linux.
  • James Jenkins spoke briefly about the Jolicloud Linux Distro, although we were unable to connect to the projector (his sub-notebook had no analog out).
  • Mark Davis announced limited availability of some older VIA EPIA mini ITX motherboards, as Lake Taylor starts with its workstation upgrade project. Many more will be available for the next meeting.
