This was an in-person meeting (with broadcast to Jitsi) on 03-07-2024. Attending in person were 6 people: Mark, Marvin, Hans, Dave, Alan, and Kenneth. On-line attendees included: Philip, JohnM, William, and Trent. 10 total. Topics included: Mark gave presentation on a $114 Ebay find, a Fujitsu Lifebook T937 and how it all works under Linux and has lots of interesting features; some about the mystery of "kinetic scrolling" in Linux (and no apparent way to turn it off), swap memory- how it works, advantages, when it is needed, what happens when you run out of RAM in Linux, and partition vs. swapfile; vim backup files, Alan on his recent purchase of a Minix Z100-0db mini fanless PC for Linux (Intel Core N100) and some about Mopidy (a web music server), Marvin showed his 14" Lenovo with a matching Lenovo wireless keyboard and USB-C second matching screen under Linux.
