  • Mark Davis gave a mini presentation on ionice- why it exists, how it is used, and how it compares/contrasts/works with nice. It is part of the current "Completely Fair Queuing" scheduler which became the Linux default in 2.6.18.

    • Oracle saying they will hand OpenOffice over to the Apache Foundation
    • Recruitment on the list
    • Spam blocking
    • Home automation
